The UNICEF Innovation Design & Interaction team is a group of nerdy designers that works across new and emerging fields.

We support a global team of thinkers and doers who are focused on finding solutions for the world's most marginalized children and we think that's pretty cool. We're obsessed with problem solving and the general feeling around our team is: "doing everything all the time".

We support flagship innovation initiatives and projects through
(but not limited to):

- physical and digital interaction design
- information and systems architecture
- branding and design strategy
- internal and external communication design
- design and creative consultation

Things we love

awesome designers (especially of the nerd variety), great stories, problem solving , any kind of chocolate, good coffee, making beautiful and functional design with a peanut budget and puppies! We're always looking for new talent to join our weird black hole. You can find out more about that on our jobs board here.

Every year, we hire an incredible design fellow to support our team. The fellowship is an opportunity for university-level students or recent graduates to work in a professional environment. The design fellow is provided with a mentor, their own personal project and ample networking opportunities. The fellowship opens once a year and you can find out more about it here.
