How can we showcase UNICEF innovation projects from around the world and share how we take early stage innovations from start-up to scale-up to reach the lives of the children who need it the most?

New York Headquarters, USA

May 2015

In 2015 May, UNICEF launched a Global Innovation Centre and Innovation Fund to bring to scale creative and cost-reducing approaches to better the lives of the poorest children.

We held a 3-day exhibition at UNICEF’s Danny Kaye Visitors Centre at the New York Headquarters, which included a showcase of over twenty of our innovations, workshops, guided tours and a press event. Our design team was tasked with orchestrating and designing a cohesive experience to celebrate UNICEF’s innovation work. This included designing posters, signage and other print material, creating interactive or screen-based designs, designing a catalogue of innovations, planning guided tours and run of shows, juggling and coordinating spatial changes and supporting in the execution of the transformation of the Visitors Centre.
