UNICEF’s Office of Innovation is a division which is tasked with identifying, prototyping, and scaling technologies and practices that strengthen UNICEF’s work for children. We set out to explore new approaches, types of partnerships, and technologies to deliver results for children at the Global Innovation Meeting in Amman, Jordan. The event brought together colleagues representatives, and private-sector partners from across the globe.
There’s great change in the world, and great change for children. Much of this change is being driven and enabled by technology. From urbanization to artificial intelligence, we discussed the tremendous opportunities and challenges for children and young people.
The three day event saw presentations, deep-dives, panel discussions and workshops. It showcased how we can position ourselves to embrace these changes and identify solutions together.
The design team was tasked with creating the experience as well as the visual assets. Everything from the identity, screen slides and badges to a dynamic event website which was built completely on Splashthat - this was a huge opportunity for us to showcase the freshly launched UNICEF Innovation brand.
